Peace Lily

The Spathiphyllum, also known as Peace Lily, is the most well-known plant within our air-purifying range. Spathiphyllum is characterised by its white, upright flowers. Some varieties even have lightly scented flowers. In general, the bigger the plant, the bigger the flower and the smaller the plant, the more flowers.

The Spathiphyllum likes a moderately light to shady spot, but definitely not in direct sunlight. The ideal temperature is between 15 and 23°C.

Care is simple: keep the pot ball moist and give the plant an occasional shower to rinse the dust off the leaves. After flowering, cut away the old (green) flower stem completely so that no energy is lost on old flowers.

The Spathiphyllum is slightly poisonous. Be careful with pets: if they eat of these leaves, allergic reactions can occur.
