Green connects: inspiration and social impact at two major consumer fairs
During two leading consumer fairs (Mode Heim Handwerk and Margriet Winterfair) in Essen and Den Bosch, green was put in the spotlight. Thanks to the valuable cooperation between green expert Romeo Sommers, Air So Pure, Anthurium Info , and various partners, approx. 100,000 visitors were inspired by impressive presentations, creative workshops, and atmospheric styling, in which plants and flowers were central.
With interactive selfie corners and workshops in which green decorations were made, visitors discovered how green not only adds atmosphere to the interior but also contributes to well-being and connection. The green theme, combined with practical applications for the holidays, appealed to a wide audience. For example, the workshops were fully booked every day and the selfie corners were used continuously.

Green inspiration with a social mission
Green plants are for everyone and improve your well-being. With that message, Air So Pure and Stichting Promotie Anthurium donated more than 1,000 plants after the fairs to charities in both Germany and the Netherlands:
- In Essen, over 500 plants were donated to Jugendhilfe und Jugendberufshilfe Essen, an organization that supports underprivileged young people on their way to independence.
- In the Netherlands, Quiet Nederland, an organization that supports people in hidden poverty, also received 500 plants. The plants bring a bit of warmth and atmosphere into the homes of people who desperately need it.
Green expert Romeo Sommers, who organized and filled in the green square at both fairs, led the donations. The initiatives show that green not only inspires but can also make an impact on society.
