Asplenium

Asplenium is part of the striped fern family. A name the plant family owes to the dark, stripe-shaped spores at the base of the mature leaves.

Asplenium nidus is also called Bird's nest fern or Sole fern. The nickname of Asplenium parvati is Mother Fern.
