- Humidity: If necessary, increase the humidity around your palm by spraying regularly.
- Pruning: : Feel free to cut away old or dry leaves at the base. This will keep the plant fresh and stimulate new growth. Also, if the plant gets too big, you can cut it back a little if desired.
Is the Areca Palm Toxic?
The Areca (Golden Palm) is non-toxic. So you can place the June Air Purifying Plant of the Month in your home without worry, even if you have pets or young children. Still, we do not recommend eating the plant, it is not meant for this.
