Air So Pure celebrates Plant Fascinating Day
On Plant Fascination Day, May 18, the lives of 125 vulnerable families in Amstelland received a fresh and green boost. Stichting ANDERS Amstelland surprised these families with a package full of garden plants and houseplants, made possible through the collaboration of several organizations. Air So Pure, along with Dutch Flower Foundation and Historische Tuin Aalsmeer, played a vital role in this momentous occasion.
The importance of greenery at home
At Air So Pure, we are aware of the many benefits that greenery brings to the home. Houseplants are more than just decorative elements; they contribute to a healthier living environment. Our air-purifying plants improve air quality, can reduce stress and promote a sense of well-being. Adding plants to a work and living space is a simple way to make a positive impact on people's daily health and happiness.
A meaningful collaboration
The Plant Fascination Day action shows how cooperation between different organizations can have a big impact. The ANDERS Amstelland Foundation, known for their commitment to vulnerable groups, brought the parties involved together. At Air So Pure, we are more than proud to contribute to this great initiative, together with our members Van der Voort Potplanten B.V. and Quakelplant.
Plants come with pots, but vulnerable families do not always have the means to purchase them. That is why Air So Pure, together with its members, has also donated ornamental pots. This way, vulnerable families can add a total picture to their living environment.
A green boost for vulnerable families
For many families who are in receivership, dependent on the food bank or receiving welfare benefits, daily life is full of challenges. Adding houseplants to their living environment offers not only interior design benefits, but also psychological and physical benefits. Plants can help improve air quality and create a more relaxing atmosphere, which is especially important for those dealing with stress and other challenges.
Why air-purifying plants?
The plants handed out during this promotion are not just random plants. At Air So Pure, we specifically focus on air-purifying plants. These plants are able to filter pollutants from the air and produce oxygen, improving overall air quality. This is not only good for your health, but can also contribute to better concentration and increased energy levels. Literally a green boost, in other words!
